| Bio: | About Me... Well, let's see. I grew up in a farm in a very small place, about half an hour away from anything that could be called a city by Norwegian standards (it has just below 19 000 inhabitants). However, although I'm the eldest child, Nature decided that farming was not something I was supposed to do. You see, I'm allergic to most animals, to hay, to grass, and several other things that also grows out in the country. I'm not very allergic, though, just allergic enough that it's really annoying, but nowhere near life-threatening. So, when it was time for me to begin on Senior High School (or Upper Secondary School or whatever the equivalent is in your country), I moved to Trondheim. The fourth largest city in Norway, as a matter of fact, with a stunning 150 000 inhabitants. :) Now I'm in University, taking what's called practical-pedagogical studies. I finished a Bachelor's Degree in Language and Literature, with a specialization in French in May 2006, which forms the basis of my pedagogical studies. All in all, it is great fun, but this year is terribly intense, more so than any other year I've had in Uni. And, I'm married. To a very beautiful and loving woman that I met during Senior High. She's my age (ok, she's one year older) and although many people think we married too early, we enjoy each other's company tremendously. Why wait when you're sure about who you want to spend the rest of your life with? Next, politics. I'm a member of the Christian Democrats in Norway (actually, if you translate the party's name literally, it would be Christian People's Party), and if I in some small way can make Norway, and the world, a better place to be, I'd be happy. :) In short, that's why I even bother to be active in politics.
